Social Cultural Activities

(1) Cricket Coaching Camp

A free of cost coaching camp was organized this year as higher too and almost 1600 children took part in the camp.

(2) Appreciation of Bright Students

A total of 803 bright students (children of members) where felicitated by the Bank by giving them various memento's & prizes. Besides two Board toppers were accorded scholarship.

(3) Celebration of Independent & Republic days

Independence & Republic days were celebrated by Flag hoisting at all the branches. Customers & Members of the Bank joined the Bank staff in the celebration. Human Resources Development

(1)The progress of the Bank which has been showcased above. as well as the contribution to social & cultural activities is all, the result of a dedicated & faithful staff who worked relentlessly to achieve the goals.

(2) As a matter of policy Bank upgraded a number of staff, in slots falling vacant due to retirement, through internal promotions. During the year 16 member of the staff were promoted as under.

I feel proud to declare that the whole process of promotion was transparent & Merit based.

(3) Training has been an ongoing process and during the year 60 staff members were sent for training to various training institutes & colleges.

Celebration of Bank Day & Customer Meet at all branch

Bank day was celebrated this year too on 05.10.10, with traditional fervor and gaiety. During the Bank day week, Branches were decorated and various traditional competitions were organized. All the staff members & their family took active part in these competitions enthusiastically

Branches also celebrated their own 'Branch Day' and arranged Customer Meets.

'Nagarik Bank on National Radar

'Kalpataru' Scheme designed and implemented too, at our bank was highlighted in the national seminar organized for 'SHG's by 'Sahakar Bharti', I am happy to declare that our Bank has been given the responsibility to head the working committee for national level implementation of SHG activity.

Retirements

During this year the following staff retired from the Bank on Superannuation. I wish them all the best for their future endeavors
